"What is important is the experience you get from it. The interpretation is open" with this fact, the architect Daniel Liveski created The Jewish Museum Berlin; one of the largest Jewish Museums in Europe.

The floor plan is shaped like a zigzag line intersected by a straight line. Empty spaces called "voids" can be found throughout the building, these symbolize the lack of jews in Germany during the holocaust.

Three paths cross on the lower level: the Axis of Exile, the Axis of the Holocaust and the Axis of Continuity. White Hat Architecture thinks that a memorial needs to reach the viewer and evoke thoughts and feelings that are related to the theme of the memorial, in this case, the loss and suffering of the Jewish community.
